The summer update for CATS includes a new module for batch printing price fixing letters as well as a helpful UI component for finding options in the settings dialog.
[NEW]Batch Print Price Fixing Letter
Users can now batch print their price-fixing letters. Filters based on
date, counterparty and other options allow users to narrow down their
selection. Letters can be printed individually or together as a single
document.
[NEW]Settings Keyword Search
Finding a setting has never been easier. Clicking on the search icon (or
using your search keyboard shortcut) will bring up a prompt. Enter
keywords for the settings and then select the setting.
[NEW]Invoice Reports Can Target Original Invoice File
The Inventory Transactions and Provisional Not Finalized reports can now
use the original invoice file as their data source. This allows printing
details for invoices that do not post to the posting file.
Change Broker on Posted Invoice
A new setting for invoices has been added to allow users to change the
broker information on the posted invoice.
Sale Free Time Update Setting
A new setting for traffic has been added to skip the prompt when users
enter the sale free time on a DO.
Tariff Vendor Order
Vendor order entries now support a “Tariff” designation which allows
CATS to calculate the tariff cost based on the item’s origin and
shipment information.
Improved Futures Trade Interface
The trades scan has been re-worked to be more accessible and functional
for users. New filters have been added to the trade scan and the filter
dialog has been reworked to look cleaner.
Due Date on Inventory Transactions Report
The invoice due date can be included on the inventory transactions
report as a column, filter or group.
Easier Weight-Basis Changes
Changing the weight basis for a contract item or location screen now
also updates the weight-per-unit. This prevents the error where the user
fails to update the weight per unit after changing the weight basis.
Logos in Microsoft Word
Printing a document from CATS into Microsoft Word will persist the
letterhead/logo images in the resulting document.
Broker Filter on Open Position Report
The broker filter on the open position report allows the broker account
code to be entered properly.
Broker Commission Columns Expanded
Broker commission columns on reports support up to $99,999.
“Drill-Through” Permissions Could be Too Permissive
Drill-through could show for users that didn’t have the appropriate
rights.
