The spring update for CATS aims to address the effect of the new tariff regime on the coffee import process. We recommend using vendor orders to capture the pending fees and book the charges into CATS with pass through cost codes to ensure that those fees are passed along to the customer.
[NEW]Pass Through Costs
In response to the US tariffs on coffee imports, vendor costs can now be
flagged as “pass through.” Pass through costs applied to a purchase
contract will automatically be applied to the sale cost on a pro-rated
basis.
Report to Excel Tab
New option for the reporting service to place the output as a named tab
in an existing Excel Workbook.
Duplicate Invoice Numbers
A new setting enables the re-use of invoice numbers on purchases and
vendor invoices for different accounts.
Vendor Order Selection
Selection of vendor orders has been optimized resulting in faster
queries and improved workflow.
Position Range Filter
Reports with a position date filter can now use a position range to
specify a rolling period of months.
Market Value Recalculation
Improved the speed of the system-wide market value recalculation
feature.
Subdivide Splits Charges
Subdividing (or redistributing) a location screen will automatically
apportion the charges records associated with that screen.
